Welcome to Liora, an AI companion service provided by Liora Support ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Liora website and AI chat service (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Liora is an AI-powered companion designed to provide general support, information, and guidance for parents and carers of neurodivergent children. The Service includes:

  • AI chat functionality for parenting support and guidance
  • Educational blog content about neurodivergent parenting
  • Links to professional coaching services through Liora
  • Free resources and guides

Liora is NOT a substitute for professional advice

Liora provides general parenting guidance only. The Service is not intended to replace professional medical, psychological, therapeutic, or educational advice.

Liora cannot and does not:

  • Provide medical diagnoses
  • Prescribe treatments or medications
  • Offer psychological therapy or counselling
  • Make decisions about your child's education or support needs
  • Replace consultation with qualified healthcare or education professionals

Always consult with qualified professionals (paediatricians, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, educators, etc.) for decisions affecting your child's health, development, and education.

5. Eligibility

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to manipulate, hack, or exploit the AI system
  • Use the Service to generate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated scripts to access the Service excessively
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the Service for commercial purposes without our written consent

7. AI Limitations

Liora is powered by artificial intelligence and has inherent limitations:

  • Responses are generated based on patterns in training data and may not always be accurate or appropriate for your specific situation
  • The AI may occasionally produce incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information
  • The AI cannot access external websites, databases, or real-time information
  • Conversations are not reviewed by human professionals unless you specifically engage Liora coaching services

You are responsible for evaluating the appropriateness and accuracy of any information provided by Liora before acting on it.

8. User Content

When you provide content through the Service (such as chat messages), you retain ownership of that content. However, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, and process your content for the purpose of providing the Service.

We may use anonymised and aggregated data from the Service for research, analytics, and service improvement purposes, but we will never share your identifiable personal information without your consent (except as required by law).

9. Privacy

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the new Terms on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
